LOW COST VISION SYSTEMS: Banner Engineering
This is the site for the American Society for Quality (A.S.Q.). It has some useful information. Many of their certifications do not require a college education unlike the Accounting, Medical and Legal professions. (Example: N.I.S.T Calibration School at Red Stone Arsenal, AL is 12 months long, requires a security clearance and the certification exam takes 3 days, A.S.Q offers a certification exam that is less then 8 hours with little or no formal educational requirements).
NOTE: We believe that quality management is a profession in its own right, separate from other disciplines, such as, sales, engineering or operations. As such, quality management systems should be implemented and managed by degreed (BA/BS/MS in Quality Management) quality professionals. Therefore, we promote and encourage post secondary education programs in the quality field.
